المستخلص [English] Abstract: |
Nowadays,We hear statements being constantly broadcasted here and there, inducing Muslim women to revolt against man’s “Qawwamiyya”- that puts him in a position of an overseeyer and maintainer as Islam requires from him, take the hijab off- daring todeny it as anIslamic obligation, and reject Islamic marriage to resort to civil marriage instead- claiming that it would secure her rights. This all is being dubbed under a broad tittle they call “personal freedom”, that in fact is “collective degeneration”. This is a denounced movement ofexcessive leniency, to which they resorted as a reaction to unfortunate actions of some men, considered as acts ofreprehensible extremism, fueled by misconceptions of the “Qawwamiyya” in Islam, that lead them to abuse women in the name of religious commitment. On, the contrary, our religion is a faith of moderation- in whichneither excessive leniency nor extremismis advocated or accepted. The right word has to be said, Islam is a religion that did women justice and honored them, and hijab is a protection for them in addition to it being an act of obedience to Allah. Sadly, we are surrounded by individuals who misuse Islam’s provisions. We ask Allah that we stay on the right track, for thepropagation of corrupted and heinous actions does not make them right. 1- Research plan: The nature of this research required that it include: an introduction, a preface, three sections and a conclusion.
