Abstract:

For any intellectual deviation is mainly due to the nature of its reference origins, to sources of reception and methods of reasoning, Islamic thought contained multiple models of of this deviant thinking, and among these models is the band of Khwarij.

This research came under the title "The intellectual deviation of Khwarij, its causes, manifestations and effects". And which concluded that the Khwarij way of thinking has negatively affected the building of their souls, which has created a personality that is fond of exaggeration, extremism, and perversion. From what it got away from the true intellectual approach to Islam.

This phenomenon among Khwarij did not arise haphazardly but rather has its causes and motives, including intolerance to the sayings of people, doctrines, and sects in accordance with the passion, exaggeration in religion, ignorance of the provisions of religion and the connotations of texts, and exaggeration in the matter of enjoining good and forbidding evil, Which led them to atone in belief, the obligation to emigrate and retire from society, and out of the rulers, And this deviation of thought, in its different forms among the Khwarij, raised its gravity in human thought, both ancient and modern. Which led to the disruption of the unity of Muslims, the emergence of Shiism as a counter-extremism, and the emergence of contemporary penitential groups (Khwarij of the era).

As for the introduction, it talks about the importance of the topic and my choice for it.

The second topic: the concept of intellectual deviation and its causes among the Kharijites.

The third topic: the manifestations of intellectual deviation among the Kharijites.

The fourth topic: the effects of intellectual deviation among the Kharijites.

As for the conclusion: it includes the most important results that were reached through the research.
