The researcher began his research by talking about al-Kindi's life, upbringing and knowledge and dealt with the extent of the influence of philosophy on Al-Kindi's life and the extent of his influence on the movement and activity of Islamic philosophy in the East, his statement that he was the first Muslim Arab philosopher, his compatibility between religion and philosophy, his defence on philosophy, his point of view of the relationship between Revelation and philosophy, and his philosophy of understanding the verses of the Noble Qur’an. Then he dealt with the issue of knowledge at al-Kindi's and between its three divisions (sensual, mental, and illumination which is the highest standard of knowledge). Then he addressed the issue of the existence of God at al-Kindi's and showed his doctrine on this issue and his evidence for the existence of God. After that he showed his doctrine in the divine attributes and he dealt with the issue of ancientness and occurrence at al-Kindi's and a statement of his doctrine about it. This research is divided into: an introduction, a preface, three chapters, and a conclusion. Introduction: It contains an overview of the research. Introduction: Al-Kindi's life, upbringing, and knowledge. The first topic: the philosophy of Al-Kindi. The second topic: Knowing God and His Existence and Attributes according to Al-Kindi. The third topic: the introduction of the world and its occurrence according to Al-Kindi. Conclusion: It contains the most important results of the research. |
