Abstract:

The researcher began his research talking about the modernity trend defining it and talking about the history of its origination. Then he showed the most important foundations on which this trend is based. After that he highlighted the relationship between modernity and orientalism to clarify that modernity has become a strange current recruiting to make Muslims doubt in their beliefs and their heritage. The phenomenon of revelation was a model to signify the plot of the modernity current in its fight against Islam. Then he concluded the research by declaring the invalidity of the modernity approach in their discussion about revelation and proving that the revelation is consistent with the Qur’an, the Sunnah (the prophet's practice) and reason. That is advocated by modern science. Strong and sound arguments that come from the Qur’an and Sunnah.

The conclusion of the research included several findings which state the value of Islam and Muslim's sanctification for their heritage and that the western currents have invalid approach that can't confront strong eloquent arguments which are originated in the Holy Quran.

The research came in: an introduction, three demands, and a conclusion.

The introduction includes the reasons for choosing the topic and the methodology of the research.

Explanation of the reality of extremist modernist thought, and its fight against Islamic thought.

The desire to show the cunning and misleading of the modernist scholars and their relationship with Orientalist thought.

Activating my duty towards participating in the protection of Islam and Muslims from the views of haters of Islam and their falsification of established facts and beliefs, and many other reasons that dictate the writing of this research.

Method:

In preparing this research, I used the analytical method, where I analyze the opinions of some scholars of the modernist movement, to find out their intention and explain their scheme in an easy and simplified manner. Then the critical method, in order to criticize their opinions and their falsification of facts, with the help of Islamic heritage books As for the demands.

The first requirement: introducing modernist thought and its history

The second requirement: Modernity and its relationship to Orientalist thought. The third requirement: Revelation between the Islamic perspective and modern thought .

Conclusion: It includes the most important results that were reached through the research, and mentioned the sources and references, and the index of topics.
