Abstract:

The Sabeans are among the ancient religions that deserve to be put into consideration and attention, but the reality was not as desired. It is regrettable that the question of the Sabeans did not receive the attention of the Arab and Islamic research circles, despite its importance in understanding intellectual development in the Arab region before and after the emergence of Islam, and what was issued.

From Arab studies, they are nothing more than general treatments that do not provide definitive answers to many of the confusing questions that this complex issue raises,

I mean: researching their truth and the origins of their beliefs; Therefore, I decided to enter the broad field of the issue, knowing that I am presenting a work that involves many difficulties and hardships, in an attempt to clarify the truth of the matter and decipher some of its symbols and its complexities. The nature of the research necessitated that I use the "regressive" approach, whereby I rooted and explained the ancient historical origins of the Sabian religion by tracing its eastern and western roots.

Then I aimed to the method of comparison and balance of the facts and historical data in my hands after presenting an objective presentation to realize the truth in this issue.

Search Plan : This research was divided into: an introduction, two articles, conclusion, and technical indexes as follows:

Introduction: It included the importance of the topic, the reasons for choosing it, and the methodology used in it.

The first topic: the Sabeans named them and the truth of their belief, and it includes two requirements:

The first requirement: the fact that they are called.

The second requirement: the truth of their belief.

The second topic: The origins of the Sabeans and the origins of their beliefs, and it has two requirements:

The first requirement: the theory of eastern origin.

The second requirement: the theory of Western origin.

Conclusion: I mentioned the most important results of the research.

Technical indexes: It includes proven sources and references, and an index of the research contents.
