Abstract:

The researcher began his research by talking about the importance of the topic in relation to contemporary life noting its concept in terms of language and convention، how it appears in the Qur’anic contexts and its meanings contained as it came in the Holy Qur’an. The researcher also called for taking the reasons leading to the establishment and survival of security and among the most important of these reasons is belief in God Almighty and the righteous deeds that follow. He talked about the fruits of security in this world represented by bestowing blessings on people، the subsequent luxury in living and tranquility in the home. He explained the consequence of losing this security in this worldly life for all humanity and what happened to it as a result of losing it as sadness، gloom and fear that dominated on all fields. Finally، the researcher mentioned the fruits of security in the hereafter represented in the bliss residing in the shade of the generous Lord، the consequence of losing it that entails entering Hellfire and the horror، panic and fear that accompanies it، that only God Almighty knows it and suffices it as a consequence and conclusion.

Accordingly, the research includes five sections preceded by a preamble.

First: the preface and includes:

(1) The concept of security, linguistically and idiomatically, and the relationship between them.

(2) The word security and its linguistic and semantic meaning.

The first topic: security and its derivatives in the Quranic context.

The second topic: the meanings of security in the Holy Qur’an.

The third topic: the reasons for the existence of security.

The fourth topic: the fruits of security in this world, and the consequences of losing it.

The fifth topic: the fruits of security in the hereafter, and the consequences of losing it.
