All praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His honest Messenger Mohammed bin Abdullah and upon his family and companions. The following Koranic verse () is one of the verses interpreted (There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell)) (Surah Maryam 71), and make them contemplate on this verse. To my best knowledge, I don't find any scholar who dedicated a book or research to solve this problematic, but their statements were separated in different books of interpretation of the Holy Koran. Thereby, I asked Allah The Almighty for guidance to write a research for solving this problematic. The research is entitled "Resolving The Problematic Mentioned in Allah Almighty Saying There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell). It wasn't surprising absolutely that certain Koranic verses constitutes a problematic or its meanings and details were hidden for some prophet's companions as well as others. The predecessors contradicted in the meaning of the mentioned verse according to the following ten (10) statements: I. Entry of the hell. II. To pass over the hell. III. The entry of disbelievers to the hell, not believers. IV. General entry for believers and disbelievers, but believers pass over the hill and disbelievers enter it. V. The entry of believer to the hill is similar to the effect of fever or disease in the world.
VII. To overlook and approach to the hill, in this situation they watch the hill and Allah save them from this scene. VIII. To look at the hill in the grave. The winner survive and those who were fated to enter it, enter it, and then exit with intermediation or other reasons due to the mercy of Allah. IX. To witness the Resurrection not the hill. X. Some predecessors and scholars stands to the meaning of entry. Discussing all statements, I reached out that the preponderant saying - Allah knows best – in the meaning of entry is that all people believers and disbelievers would enter the hill in terms of Passing through Al-Sirat (Straight Way), and then Allah save believers and the disbelieves would go down in the hill. May Allah's benediction and peace be upon our Prophet, Muhammad, his kinsfolk and all his companions. |
