المستخلص [English] Abstract: |
Islamic scholars were in disagreement about the link between the manuscripts of Quran which were collected during Khaleefah Abu Baker’s time (known as Abu Baker’s Manuscripts) and the Seven Dialects of Quran. The question is whether all the Seven Dialects of Quran were included in these manuscripts or they had only one dialect This study aims to recognize the preponderant opinion among scholars in this issue depending on the historical evidence of these manuscripts, contemplating the prophets Mohammad (PBUH) Sayings ( Hadeeths) about them and the various opinions of Islamic scholars about this issue . The study begins with an introduction about the field of study. The first chapter discusses the manuscripts of Quran which were collected during Khaleefah Abu Baker’s time taking into account their definition, the reason for writing them and the methods which the prophet’s Companions (May Allah be pleased with them) have followed to write and collect them during the prophet Mohammad (PBUH)’s life. The second chapter defines the linguistic and religious meanings of the Seven Dialects of Quran. In addition, I have discussed the historical evidence of them and the purpose of them. Finally, in chapter three, I have stated the various scholars’ opinion on this issue. In fact, I have detected the preponderant opinion that the manuscripts only had one dialect based on about twenty opinions of Islamic scholars. Keywords: the manuscripts of Quran, the Seven Dialects of Quran, Khaleefah Abu Baker’s time, Abu Baker’s Manuscripts , opinions of Islamic scholars, the preponderant opinion.
