Abstract:

Praise be to Allah and peace and Blessings be upon the messenger of Allah.

And thereafter..

Here is the Authentication of the following Hadith: ''Renounce the world and Allah will love you, and renounce what people possess and the people will love you.'' I compiled its methods (chains of narrations) as much as I could and studied them and applied the rules of Hadith, and found that this hadith is very weak( da'if), because it was transmitted by only one narrator, Khalid Ibn Amr Al-Kurashy. It was narrated only by him; it wasn't narrated by any of Althawry's good chain of authorities. It's very weak and it's said to be fabricated and classified as being forged 'Mawdu' in one saying so why it was rejected. Its method, which hadith can't be approved without it, is the weakest and most rejected, so this hadith cannot be strengthened in itself or due to other factors because it's deemed out of consideration. The most authentic and popular chain of narration is the narration of Ahmad Ibn Ibrahim Al-Dawraqi from Al-Hassan Ibn Al-Rabei from Al-Mufadal Ibn Yunus from Ibrahm Ibn Adham from Mansur Ibn Al-Mu'tamer, from Mujahid incompletely transmitted hadith because the narrators are chain of authorities. So this hadith cannot be 'Sahih' authentic despite in this incomplete chain of transmitters.
